Single lyophilised vials, public list prices, one figure per supplier. How we measure

What drives the GHK-Cu price

GHK-Cu is the tripeptide glycyl-histidyl-lysine bound to a copper(II) ion, formula C14H22CuN6O4. Three residues make it one of the cheapest peptide backbones to assemble, and the copper complexation is a simple final step, so its cost per mg sits far below the longer chains in this index. Its market is also unusual: suppliers sell it in large vials, with 50 mg and 100 mg the standard sizes rather than the 5 mg and 10 mg seen for most peptides. At those masses the fixed cost of each vial almost disappears into the per-mg figure, and price per mg is driven by raw material and purification at scale. The 100 mg band is cheaper per mg than the 50 mg band in this edition, and smaller vials are uncommon. When pricing GHK-Cu, the useful comparison is between vials of the same mass, because a 10 mg vial and a 100 mg vial sit at very different points on the cost curve.
