What Learn covers

Learn covers the chemistry and analysis of the compounds we supply, and nothing else. Articles describe what a compound is: its identity and synonyms, sequence and structure, modifications, molecular formula and mass, physical form, storage of the sealed material, how peptides are made, and how they are analysed and documented.

Learn does not describe what any compound does in a living organism, summarise biological studies or name the companies that develop compounds. It gives no dosing, administration or reconstitution guidance and uses no brand names.

Sources

Facts in Learn come from three kinds of source:

• Public chemistry references: PubChem and the CAS Registry for identifiers, formulas and masses, IUPAC nomenclature for names and sequence notation, and the CIAAW standard atomic weights for calculated masses.
• Peer-reviewed chemistry and analytical literature on structure, synthesis, stability and analytical methods, listed in each article's references in bibliographic form, with a DOI or link where one exists.
• Our own catalogue records and the certificates of analysis issued to British Peptide Labs, for product-specific values.

We do not cite or link to news reports, forums or studies of biological outcomes.

Review before publication

Every page is checked against our written content rules before it is published. An automated check scans the wording, the page title, the description and the structured data. Anything it flags is reviewed by a person, who either rewrites the text or records why it can stand.

Figures are traced to their source, whether a chemistry reference, our catalogue or a certificate. Drafts may be prepared with the help of AI writing tools; none is published without these checks.

Authorship

Learn articles carry an organisational byline rather than an individual's name, with the date each was published and last updated. They are published by British Peptide Labs, the trading name of AODAEMON LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (Companies House No. 17176945).

Dates and updates

We review every article at least every six months, and again whenever our content rules change. The update date changes when the substance of an article changes, not for minor edits.

Corrections

If you find a factual error, email info@britishpeptidelabs.com with the page address and the correction. We check the point against its source, correct the page where needed and update its date.

Articles and products

Articles carry no prices, basket buttons or product carousels. Where an article names a compound we list, it may link to that product page as plain text. Learn pages carry no reviews, ratings or testimonials.
